LIONS CORRAL COUGARS IN SHOWCASE GAME: The jserra_boys_water_polo team began play in the North vs South Challenge in victorious fashion on Thursday, as the Lions defeated the Campolindo Cougars 15-8 in a showcase game at Sacred Heart Prep School in Atherton. The Lions improve to 16-7 overall with the victory. JSerra outscored the Cougars 3-2 in each of the first three periods of the game before exploding for six goals in the final period to seal their fourth victory in the last five games. Senior Connor Colman’s six goals, his second hat trick in as many days, spearheaded the Lions scoring attack. Junior Joe Wraith also produced a hat trick for the second time in two days, finding the back of the net four times. Sophomore Ronan Keane scored twice. Sophomore Lars Knepper, freshman Sasha Bjelica, and junior Daniel Constandse added individual goals for the Lions.
