This past weekend was a great one for Mustang Baseball! It was awesome seeing so many of our 2026 recruits back on campus for Homecoming. The future Mustangs got to connect with our current guys and each others families all while enjoying some football, good food, and even better company. The future is bright for the Herd! Sunday wrapped things up with a doubleheader scrimmage featuring strong pitching, defense, and plenty of clutch hitting. Game 1 kicked off with dominant outings from Jake Lauman and Jake Treasure, who combined for six strikeouts over four innings. Offensively, Cole Reich and Colin Palmieri each ripped triples, Zach Mayza added two hits, and Shaun Rudick delivered a pinch-hit, game-winning single to walk it off. Game 2 brought the power. Michael Mcgarry, Landon Richard, Ben Vaughan and Nick Griffin showed pop at the plate.
