No. 9 Georgia staged another signature second-half comeback to defeat No. 5 Ole Miss 43–35 in a high-scoring SEC showdown, keeping its championship hopes alive.
Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton led the rally, throwing for 289 yards and four touchdowns — three of them to tight end Lawson Luckie — and adding 59 rushing yards with a 22-yard touchdown run. The Bulldogs erased a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, outscoring Ole Miss 17–0 down the stretch. Kicker Peyton Woodring sealed the win with his third field goal of the game after Georgia’s defense clamped down in the final quarter.
For Ole Miss, the offense started strong, scoring touchdowns on its first five drives and taking a 35–26 lead in the third quarter. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels showcased their offensive firepower early but stalled late, failing to register a first down in the fourth quarter.
