Today I hit 400 hours on this painting. Inspired by a photo that was taken by zivkoren1 a Givati battalion praying during a break from a brutal fight against Hezbollah in Lebanon. I’ve been talking to Ziv about painting this for years, but it never felt like the right time. Now it does. Because lately all I can think about is unity, about peace inside our own people, about putting politics aside and remembering we’re one family.
