Sales taught me more about life than any classroom ever could. But the crazy thing is uoftampa has a dedicated minor for “sales”. And this classroom is changing the readiness/prepardness of the future sales leaders in America. I am honored and blessed to be a part of it. Every “no” isn’t personal, it’s just part of the game. You learn to handle rejection like a pro and develop thick skin, which carries you through everything life throws your way. The real magic? Learning to listen more than you talk. Do your research prior to a cold call or schedule meeting. That practice and repetition is the name of the game and raises your win percentages. When you truly hear what people need (not just what they say), you build trust that goes way beyond closing deals. That time becomes your most precious asset, you can’t talk to everyone, so you learn to prioritize what actually matters. Work smarter, not just harder. And here’s the truth: at the end of the day, it’s a numbers game of failure...
