Thrilled to see GivingTuesday Perú debut its fresh logo! 🥳 This new design was critical to better root the global movement in the Peruvian identity and culture. The design’s inspiration comes from blending ancestral Peruvian symbols with giving. We are delighted to see the movement grow in Perú! Some insights into the logo’s design 👇 The Nazca Hummingbird (the "Colibrí") at the bottom of the heart in the logo comes from the Nazca Lines, which are broadly known in Perú and around the world. The animal in this line represents a messenger or spiritual connection. For some, seeing the hummingbird line makes it easier to connect. So, in a way, it represents the importance of the message of generosity and the connection between people and causes. The Inca pattern on the top right of the logo, which can be found in many Inca and Andean patterns, reflects the ancient Peruvian idea of communal support.
