When Jón Páll Sigmarsson hoisted over 1,000 pounds from the ground, he declared: “You should not be alive if you can’t do deadlift.” From ‘Viking Headquarters’ in Scotland to the Rogue workshop in Ohio, Rogue has brought those legendary wheels back to life—using original steel, traditional wheelwright techniques, and timeless craftsmanship that honors the old-world roots of the sport. This project bridges generations of Strongman—connecting the pioneers like Jón Páll with today’s athletes who will test themselves against history at the Rogue Invitational.
