It started with the chance rediscovery of his father's old tractor and continued until it sprawled five massive sheds. Now Jon Kinzenbaw, the eastern Iowa farm entrepreneur who founded Kinze Manufacturing 60 years ago, is preparing to sell about 125 of the roughly 600 tractors he's collected over five decades. On Nov. 4, Kinzenbaw will sell “duplicates” — tractor models he purchased, then later acquired other examples that were in better shape or with more unique features. The auction is "one of a kind," given the variety of tractor manufacturers in Kinzenbaw's collection, said Matt Sullivan, who's leading the Kinzenbaw sale for Illinois-based Sullivan Auctioneers.
