The biggest lie I almost believed after my accident was that if I kept living a full life, it meant I didn’t have faith in God.
Some religious folks even implied that because I wasn’t spending every day “waiting to walk again,” I wasn’t really waiting on God. But faith isn’t about sitting still, faith is about trusting Him while living fully. Parenting, working, laughing, traveling, showing up every day, that’s not a lack of faith. That’s faith in action.
John 10:10 reminds me that Jesus came so we could have life, and have it to the full. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Jeremiah 29:11 assures me that God’s plans for me are good. And 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds me His grace is sufficient, His power is made perfect in weakness.
