You cannot predict severe weather (storms/snow/ or anything else) 3 months in advance and anyone who is telling you otherwise is selling you something. ***public service announcment*** I ❤️ the national weather service and they do critical work preparing these outlooks for both the public and private sector. Their work is important. Seasonal outlooks are great tools and help inform forecasts. They tell us what is likely. Take them as an opportunity to prepare ahead of time for a worst case scenario, if that's in the forecast for your region.
