It's Halloween week!
This wonderfully seasonal image comes from Grimaldi’s store at Glencairn and Bathurst and featured in the Globe and Mail in 1952: "Pile of pumpkins is only a small part of the 3,000 assembled for Thanksgiving and Hallowe'en sales at the corner of Glencairn and Bathurst St. Gina Grimaldi, 4, daughter of market owner Jim Grimaldi, will be given her pick. Pumpkins are grown by farmer friend at Woodbridge".
