🚨 GOOD NEWS: In a landmark judgment for our planet, our health, and our future, the European Court of Human Rights has set limits on Norway’s massive fossil fuel industry. The Court ruled that Norway must assess the global climate impacts of oil and gas before opening new oil fields on the Norwegian continental shelf, in order to comply with the European Convention on Human Rights. The judgment reinforces the growing international legal consensus that governments must consider the climate impacts of new fossil fuel projects in line with their human rights obligations. This historic case was brought forward by Greenpeace, Young Friends of the Earth, and six young climate activists, standing up for current and future generations. This is a turning point. The era of unchecked oil expansion is over. Together, we will keep pushing governments to turn this judgment into real action, for justice, for the planet, and for generations to come. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ greenpeacenorge naturogungdom #Peop...
