I didn't choose to have a c-section, as most women, my first cesarean was an emergency. My second and third were planned because my doctor didn't perform VBACs so we stuck to what we knew. The last two went super smooth and the recovery was easier and faster with each one. Cesareans can be scary, I am not going to sugar coat it. It's a lot... the operation room, the anesthesia, the incision, the recovery... and the gas! Yup, gas.
