Boise’s newest bakery just opened and it’s pure magic 🍞✨ I’ve been following burreadbakery since their farmers market days, and I can’t even tell you how excited I am that they now have a full storefront in downtown Boise. Everything here is made with care, transparency, and local ingredients. You can literally watch their sourdough loaves coming out of the oven in their open kitchen, and it smells unbelievable. They specialize in long fermented sourdough breads like classic white, whole grain, rye, seeded, and new seasonal flavors, plus sourdough croissants, pastries, and brioche loaves that are next level. You can even take home their raw sourdough pizza dough to bake your own perfect pizza. They use local organic flour from Hillside Grain and organic flour from Central Milling in Utah, along with ingredients from nearby farms including eggs, honey, fruit, and even mushrooms for their seasonal pastries.
