this might be DK
The line “Do you know what DK stands for?” is from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).
It’s said by Twinkie (played by Bow Wow) when introducing Takashi, the main antagonist.
DK stands for “Drift King,” the best drifter in Tokyo and the guy who basically runs the underground drift scene.
When Sean Boswell (the protagonist) asks “What’s DK?” Twinkie replies, “Drift King.”
It’s a key moment because it sets up Takashi’s dominance and Sean’s eventual goal, to beat the Drift King at his own game.
The scene also became a meme later on for how casually and dramatically the line’s delivered.
Would you say that’s one of the most iconic intros in the franchise, or do you think Dom’s “I live my life a quarter mile at a time” still tops it? 🤔💭
