STUTUTUTU That iconic “stutututu” sound on the R34 GT-R isn’t from the engine itself—it’s from the blow-off valve or compressor surge in its twin-turbo setup. When the driver lifts off the throttle, the throttle plate closes but the turbos are still spinning and forcing air forward. That trapped boost has nowhere to go, so it hits the closed throttle and bounces back through the turbo compressor blades, making that rapid “stu-tu-tu-tu” flutter. Many R34 owners intentionally remove or modify the factory blow-off valve (which would normally vent that pressure quietly) to let the turbo “chatter” instead—it’s less efficient, but it sounds incredible. Would you want your turbo to vent cleanly with a loud psshh or flutter like the R34’s stutututu? 🤔💭 ( Media: jdm_car_media11 [ @ masahiro11037/tt ] / Owned by chiroism34 ) #nissan #gtr #r34 #jdm #cars
