At the uflorida ’s Malachowsky Hall, everything was designed with intention; from electrochromic glass that responds to sunlight, to folded metal panels that create shade and movement across the facade.
But one risk often gets overlooked, even on the most forward-thinking projects: glass collisions.
That’s why, two years ago, Feather Friendly markers were applied to the building’s triangular glass units, helping make this award-winning STEM facility safer for birds from day one.
We were proud to work with Sage Glass, the project’s glass manufacturer, to make this possible. Our markers were applied by a certified dealer at Sage’s Minnesota facility during fabrication and the completed units were shipped to Florida and installed during construction.
This project is another great example of our ability to deliver effective, discreet bird protection not just on retrofit projects, but on non-standard surfaces and new construction.
