@kalejunkie for more! Make this EASY SALMON SUSHI BAKE for dinner tonight! It also doubles as a DELICIOUS game day appetizer that everyone will love—it is super craveworthy! OBVIOUSLY this is not traditional and it is not sushi; it’s kind of like a deconstructed baked salmon roll. Versions of this sushi bake have been floating around social media for a few years now, it’s about time I put my spin on it, so here you go. MAKE IT, and report back! If you don’t want to use salmon, you can also make this with shredded chicken or even canned tuna.
Makes 8 servings
1 1/2 cups sushi rice, cooked
1 1/2 lbs salmon, cooked
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
2 tb toasted sesame oil
3 tb kewpie mayo (Japanese mayo)
1 tb sriracha (or more if you prefer spicier!)
1 tb rice vinegar
1 8oz container cream cheese
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/4 cup furikake
