@themodernnonna inspired me to make the shrimp version and they turned out AMAZING! And they are so easy to make. The shrimp is tossed in a delicious sauce and gets nice and crispy in the oven—the perfect handheld, bite sized appetizer or meal!
1 1/2 cups cooked rice, I used jasmine but any rice will work
3 sheets nori, cute into 12 squares
1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp (uncooked), cut into small pieces
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup softened cream cheese
3 tb kewpie mayo
1 tsp sriracha
2 tb soy sauce or coconut aminos
Chives for garnish
Prepare 2 cups of rice according to package instructions and set aside. Preheat oven to 400F. Next, pat dry the shrimp and cut into small pieces. Add a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, add the softened cream cheese, kewpie mayo, sriracha and soy sauce/coconut aminos. ...
