@sprouts! I am using a ribeye steak, which is my favorite cut, but this method is also fantastic for a New York strip or even a lean piece of meat like a filet!

Here is what you need to know—
1. Your steak must be room temp to get that perfect crust/sear. If you use cold steak, it will turn a gray color!
2. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel.
3. Add salt—more than you think you need, trust me! I also recommend keeping it simple with just salt and pepper.
4. Use a meat thermometer if you have one, that is the best way to get your steak cooked to your doneness preference.
