@kalejunkie for more recipes! TUNA POKE TOSTADAS! I am obsessed with the ahi tuna tostadas at Tacolicious restaurant in San Francisco, so I had to create my own version! This poke is super simple to make—just add everything to a bowl, let marinate, then build your tostadas and get ready to be transported to nirvana—wherever and whatever that means—just make them!
Makes 6 tostadas
12 oz sushi-grade tuna, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 tb sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
1/3 cup green onion, sliced thinly
1/3 cup sweet onion, sliced thinly
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional)
2 tb furikake seasoning
6 tostada shells (or tortilla chips)
1 avocado, thinly sliced
Cut tuna into cubes and add to a bowl, along with the sesame oil, soy sauce, green onion, sweet onion and ginger. Toss to coat everything well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinate.
