Flavored salts are a great way to add an extra flavor boost to your food and they will last several months! You can use different herbs to make your own flavored salts, such as thyme, but I really love rosemary lemon! It’s fantastic on potatoes, meats, fish, eggs, toast, roasted veggies and more. ⁣ ⁣ You can keep the texture on the coarse side like I did, or process it further to make a finer salt, it is up to you. It’s also very inexpensive to make a huge batch and it makes a great DIY holiday gift.⁣ ⁣ ROSEMARY LEMON SALT⁣ Makes 3 cups⁣ ⁣ 3 cups coarse salt⁣ 2 lemons, zested⁣ 1 cup rosemary, removed from the stems⁣ ⁣ Add all ingredients to a food processor. Process until desired texture is reached. As you can see, I like a coarse salt. Transfer for a baking sheet, and bake at 225 for 30 minutes, so that the rosemary dries.
