On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Blacksburg residents voted in state and local elections. Residents could vote for Virginia governor and member of the Virginia House of Delegates District 41, along with attorney general, lieutenant governor, board of supervisors, school board, mayor for Town of Blacksburg and town council for Town of Blacksburg. Candidates on the ballot also included mayoral candidates Pete Macedo, owner of Blacksburg Bagels, and current Vice Mayor of Blacksburg Michael Sutphin. Outside of Squires Student Center, students campaigned for candidates and encouraged student voting. #virginiatech #election #voting
