From Scarborough to Churchill ✈️ (A letter from a Guardian of Polar bears) 📝 “My name is Lindsay and from being your Guardian of Wild at your Toronto Zoo and spending my days caring for our 4 Polar bear ambassadors, I am now in the Arctic north as a field ambassador in-situ, surrounded by wild bears 🐻‍❄️ At the moment, I am privileged to be working alongside our partners at polarbearsinternational. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet people from all over the world, who have come to enjoy the breathtaking landscape with hopes of seeing a polar bear in the wild as it begins making its annual fall journey to the sea ice 🧊 It’s here in Churchill where I get to talk about everything from bear biology and ecology to research and the connections within human care populations.
