Why do @Huda Beauty’s highlighters in her new blush palettes look darker when you swatch them with your fingers or see them in store? 🧐 Don’t worry beauty queens, there’s nothing wrong with the formula. The base just reacts to the natural oils on your fingers, which can make the shade appear deeper. It doesn’t affect the finish at all, it just looks a little strange at first. And if you notice some fading (especially on the pink shades!), that’s totally normal too. We’ve spoken about this before but pink pigments are extra sensitive to the bright Sephora lights, but it’s nothing a quick surface scrape can’t fix. Now you know!
