The Sudanese People of Lincoln are fed up with what’s happening in their home country.
Sudan is currently experiencing an ongoing armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which began in April 2023. Fighting has spread across several regions, including Khartoum and Darfur, leading to widespread displacement and damage to infrastructure. Millions of people have been forced to leave their homes, and many areas are facing shortages of food, water, healthcare, and basic services. Communication networks and transportation routes have also been disrupted, making it difficult for families to stay connected or access support. The situation continues to develop, and humanitarian organizations are working to assist affected communities where possible.
