Easy Sunday dinner after football while getting ready for Thanksgiving! I picked up two whole turkey breasts from wildforkfoods . Simple overnight brine Saturday evening. Rinsed and dried at halftime. Seasoned with my favorite meatchurch rub. Fired up the kamadojoe and set it up to smoke with some jealousdevilcharcoal cherry chunks. Slide in my brand new meatermade thermometer Smoked it at 225° for about 90 mins. Until it hit 145° internal. Bumped up the temp to 350 to finish it off and crisp the skin until I hit 160° internal. Let it rest for about 15 mins until the meatermade read 165° internal. It came out incredibly juicy and the kids ate all of it. Sadly enough no extras for turkey sandwiches 😒 The meatermade took away all the guess work, I just sat back with a beer and watched the game until it told me it was done.
