If your child needs glasses, you don’t say they’re spoiled. So why do we say that about microphones, captions, or interpreters? I’ve heard it too many times: “They’re getting special treatment.” “They’ll never learn to advocate if we make it too easy.” “They should learn to adapt.” Here’s the truth: Accommodations don’t spoil Deaf and Hard of Hearing kids. They include them. Access isn’t a privilege. It’s a right. And when we make listening, learning, and connection easier… we’re not lowering the bar. We’re finally letting every child reach it. Save this if you believe inclusion starts with access and tag a parent, teacher, or provider who needs to hear this today. #InclusionMatters #AccessIsLove #DeafAwareness #HardOfHearing #DHH #AccessibilityMatters #RepresentationMatters #MamaHuHears #InclusionOverExclusion #Audiology #DeafCommunity #LanguageAccess #EducationForAll #AccommodationsAreAccess #ConnectionOverCorrection #EmpowerNotEnable
