Since committing to slippery rock in April the back court duo of rj sledge and dame givner college debut has been highly anticipated! As many questioned and even doubted their projected playing time and playing ability as freshman coming into the psac, well I’m here to say confidently they belong!!! The 2 freshmen put on solid performances and their 2 opening home games as dame sees the starting lineup as the rock’s starting pg and rj seeing starter like mins off the bench. The duo look to continue to progress as they take on wheeling Wednesday night. Combined stats between first 2 games: Rj:6/16 17pts Dame: 6/18 18pts
