Reflective post: Born and raised in SoCal. Quit my job at 29 years old to chase the dream as a sports reporter. Moved from San Diego to Orlando for danpatrickedu for 2 years. Moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to start my adventure in the career I’ve always dreamed up. The past 6 months covering UNL and overall the state of Nebraska sports has been the most fun I’ve had in a job. To have the opportunity to come back to SoCal and cover the No. 1 Huskers volleyball as they play two programs, UCLA and USC, I watched growing up in all sports is so cool. Just so much pride, joy, and appreciation for the hard work, sacrifices, and countless hours of unseen failures to get me to this point. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and support!
