FBI dive teams are searching the Jordan River today for evidence and clues in connection with a Saratoga Springs murder earlier this year that killed a mother and her young son.
Jessica Lyman, 44, and her son, Eli Painter, were shot in the middle of the night on March 28. They were found by later that morning, and Painter was pronounced dead at the scene, while Lyman was taken to the hospital but died several days later.
Several months later, police have still not arrested a suspect.
No details were provided about the type of evidence the FBI and police are searching for on Monday, but the Saratoga Springs Police Department said the spot is "one of multiple locations" where they are trying to locate additional evidence.
