But until I feel kicks, this little home Doppler is the only reassurance I have in between monthly ultrasounds that there’s really a baby in there. (That and the big belly I guess 😅) Pregnancy after IVF & loss is hard.
My next ultrasound is just one week away at 19 weeks, and since I’m high risk, it’s a Level II ultrasound, which is an incredibly detailed scan of baby’s anatomy, organs, brain and heart, placenta and amniotic fluid, and overall development so far. It’s going to be about 90 minutes and I’m looking SO FORWARD TO IT. And the best part of all? By this time next week, I’ll know for sure that I’m either looking at my baby boy or my baby girl. 🥹💙🩷
