You may not know that educational opportunities at DJDS go well beyond high school—we are firm believers in lifelong learning! Over the past two weeks, parents and community members gathered in the Spark Lab for an AI workshop led by Tal Goldhamer, DJDS parent and AI expert. Tal broke down what AI is (and isn’t), shared practical strategies for using it, and demonstrated how accessible these tools can be for anyone. Participants walked away energized and empowered. Many said the workshop opened their eyes to how AI can support creativity, efficiency, and daily tasks. Several attendees shared that they learned things they “never knew before” and have already begun using AI in new ways in their careers. Others noted that Tal’s clear explanations and real-world examples helped demystify a topic that had felt intimidating.
