This is why I shoot at f/8 ⬇️ For portraits, I always want the whole subject in focus, as much as my framing allows. Especially for artist portraits, people aren’t looking at the background — they want to see the artist or celebrity in frame at the highest possible dimensions/quality. Shooting at f/8 ensures that I have EVERYTHING in focus, allowing my external flash to do the heavy lifting for me… . . . #photographer #portraitphotography #aperture
