Wonderful footage of the 1931 Eaton's Santa Claus Parade as it ran along University Avenue! These scenes are from 16mm amateur film footage shot by the family of Nathan Smith in 1931-1932. The Smith children are also shown, playing by the home on St. George Street. Nathan Smith was a prominent merchant and philanthropist in Toronto who founded the N. Smith Belting Works.
