The City of Tuscaloosa has come to an agreement on how it will do better preventing sewage spills with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and several water activist groups. On Tuesday, the city signed the agreement alongside ADEM, Black Warrior Riverkeeper and Friends of Hurricane Creek. It comes years after lawsuits filed by those organizations and ADEM over the city's sewer spills and public notices of those spills.
