I want “Pilates arms”, “runner’s legs”, and a “snatched waist”, but let’s avoid “runner’s face” and getting “too” muscular. The resounding narrative online is to workout to change & shape your body, so here’s a *short* list of reasons to run that have nothing to do with changing the way you look. Instead of focusing on a look, exercise for connection, a feeling of empowerment, becoming stronger, achieving goals, gaining mental clarity, and hundreds of other reasons that have nothing to do with your body 👏 Oh, and, in case anyone needed a reminder, everyone who runs has a “runner’s body” 🤷‍♀️ #bodyimage #runnersbody
