Do you know what year women were granted the right to get a business loan on their own, without their husband or father co-signing with them? 🤔 1988! What?! That was only 12 years before I started spanx . And prior to October 1974 (when the Equal Credit Opportunity Act passed) women couldn’t even open a bank account, apply for a credit card or get a home loan without the permission of their husband or a male co-signer. Only 50 years ago! Think of all the businesses that could have been started by women before that. I’m a big believer that the more female businesses we have in this world, the better.
