Shortly after President John F. Kennedy's granddaughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, revealed her terminal cancer diagnosis, her brother, Jack Schlossberg, has offered a show of support. Jack shared a screenshot of the emotional essay, written by Tatiana on the 62nd anniversary of JFK's assassination, along with the link to it, on his Instagram Stories. He also separately shared a screenshot of the essay's opening paragraph. Tatiana said she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer, in May 2024.
