This baby girl was born deaf and failed her first hearing test in the hospital. At first her parents did not think much of it since there was no history of hearing issues in the family, but as she continued to fail more tests, they began to worry she might never hear their voices or the words they wanted to say to her. After finally getting a diagnosis, they learned that with hearing aids she would be able to hear properly. In this moment, at just 11 weeks old, she is wearing her hearing aids for the very first time and listening as her parents tell her she is beautiful.
