The CROWN Act is ~finally~ law in Pennsylvania! Protective styles, natural textures, and Black cultural identity are now legally protected - at school, at work, and in public life. Hair discrimination is consistently used to police Blackness, queerness, gender expression, and anyone else who doesn’t fit white, “professional” beauty standards. This law being passed is a win for students, workers, creators, and every person who deserves to show up in their real body, real hair, and real identity without punishment. Wear your crown.
