A “patriots” group is planning to stage a “MAGA Invasion” at Disneyland in February on the very same day as the California park’s “Gay Days” meetup. The organisers, the Hollywood-adjacent 805 Patriots, called for a counter-meet-up on 28 February for “like-minded people that support our President and Great Nation” who want to “return to American roots and classic values”. 805 Patriots have encouraged attendees to wear MAGA-themed attire and t-shirts reading “Make Disney Great Again” – which they sell on their website – but to keep in mind that Disneyland reserves the right to turn away anyone wearing clothing that is "inappropriate or distracting." They insist that the meet-up is “strictly recreational” and “NOT a march, protest, demonstration, or political action”.
