The year isn’t done yet, but I wanted to share a few real thoughts. β€œWhat you see online is never the whole truth.” This year has been both a blessing and a curse. I stepped into spaces the younger me never imagined. Modeling in shoots and videoclips, being in online campaigns, styling and directing projects, organizing block parties and Paris pop-ups, being around fashion shows, even sitting in casting rounds with major labels and teaching at schools. All while juggling my 9–5 as a creative strategist. On the other side of the coin, I lost people dear to me. I didn’t take the time to slow down and check on myself. I dyed my hair for change (didn’t always go smoothly). Cut it for a new phase. Stopped playing competitive basketball. And at some point I realized I’d lost the joy in what I did daily. Lost the direction I thought I had. I just went with the flow because β€œI can do many things,” right? Until everything catches up with you. Now it’s time to return to that joy. To re-find ...
