Last Saturday I had the pleasure of covering the Son of a Saint Gala and every time I’m with this organization, I’m reminded why New Orleans is one of the most special places in the world. Son of a Saint isn’t just an organization… it’s a lifeline. A brotherhood. A foundation that teaches our young men that they are seen, valued, and capable of becoming everything they dream of and more. Watching these boys grow into leaders while surrounded by mentors who show up for them day after day that’s the kind of impact that changes the entire trajectory of a city. The gala was a beautiful celebration of that work. The stories, the smiles, the strength you could feel the purpose in the room. Moments like these remind me why I do what I do and why it’s an honor to capture their mission through my lens. Grateful for the relationship. Grateful for the trust. Grateful to witness a mission that is shaping the next generation of New Orleans.
