This were more complicated than most, but SO worth it. The browned butter created such a caramel-y flavor and the sourdough helped with the gooey-ness. Highly recommend!
Recipe:
113g butter, browned
185g brown sugar
60g white sugar
100g sourdough discard (mine was slightly active - fed yesterday)
1 egg yolk
4g vanilla extract
175 all purpose flour
3g baking soda
3g baking powder
175g chocolate chips (I did half semi-sweet and milk chocolate)
Flaky sea salt, optional
