Race Service has a long friendship with Berlin-based technical apparel label acronym.gmbh One premise we have observed in their work is intervention, where they apply opposed elements onto a familiar object. It acts as a remix and creates a tension between the original and the new layer, a philosophy they have applied in previous shoe collabs. We carried this thinking into the new capsule. For this project, the Race Service Shop Tee and Fastest Fashion Hat carry an added set of Acronym and Project 935 graphical elements, that sits intentionally apart from the base design.
