Meet Shirleen, a 900-pound leatherback turtle and an epic traveler.
Thanks to satellite tracking by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, we now know more about where she goes.
Leatherbacks are endangered – threatened by vessel strikes, loss of nesting beach habitat, changing ocean conditions and getting inadvertently caught in fishing gear.
They need our help but, meanwhile,
