If Duncan went through a “typical” shooting workout, he would shoot close to 90%… often times above that. But he doesn’t get paid to shoot easy shots. He gets paid to shoot (and make) tough ones. The ones that would be considered bad shots for an average NBA player. Knowing this, I prepare our workouts to challenge what he is asked to do. You will get better at things you do often. Make your training mimic what you’re being asked to do on the court… you’ll get better.
