Because there is no current joint system for 3D rigging in after effects, I found a little bit of a workaround to be able to rig some 3D models. This tutorial is for the people who don’t want to rig in other 3D programs! If you are very knowledgeable in After Effects and want to do some simple 3D rigging this is going to be perfect for you! It is some front and work to separate each of the joints, but I think that goes for any joint system in after effects! I use cinema 4D to separate the joints, but you could use any 3D program like blender! #animated
