One spring Sunday, Hope Henchey's morning began in the rain, at 3:30 a.m. She started walking.
Nineteen hours later, she finally stopped.
Once she reached home again, she jumped into the Tennessee River, blistered and aching. She'd done it: 100,000 steps — the equivalent of about 50 miles — around the entirety of Chattanooga.
